What to Expect

If for any reason you are required to undergo a mental health assessment, we hope you'll consider one of our professional psychologists to provide you with the exacting attention and care such a process should always involve.

In fact, what we provide is a personal, accurate assessment based upon your individual needs. Before ever getting down to work, your psychologist will get an understanding of your individual situation in order to prepare his services to suit your needs. This assures we won't waste your time with extraneous, laborious testing that is not necessary for your assessment. We don't believe in ‘one size fits all’ approaches.

While getting to know you and your situation, we will give you all the time you need to voice any concerns about your assessment or further explain or expand on issues important to you. Only then do we draw from any number of our wide range of assessments to conduct testing specific to your needs.

After your assessment, we give you information about the results, and then sit down and discuss them with you. If there are any remaining questions or concerns, you'll be given ample time to voice them. In addition, we explain your results in-depth, again, focusing on what's vital to you. Our psychologist will be glad to walk you through each point of interest if you wish; and explain what it all means in easily understandable terms.

Depending on the type of assessment, we will also explain any implications the results may hold, including the possibility of further analysis or what the next step for you might be.

If you require a mental health assessment that may require the involvement or assistance of a court or lawyer, we do recommend that you first seek legal guidance from a qualified lawyer or immigration agent if appropriate. We are professional, experienced psychologists, but we may not offer legal advice in any form.

We also recommend further guidance and support in the form of one-on-one time with any of our psychologists, or by suggesting therapists or other professional assistance where appropriate, and providing referrals where necessary.
